Watford UK, 6th March 2006. Hyperion Systems Engineering Ltd, which provides high quality custom made solutions and services to process industries worldwide, has announced that it has been awarded a project for the supply and implementation of Operator Training Simulators (OTS) for two refineries for LUBEREF in Saudi Arabia.
The OTS solutions will be implemented at the LUBEREF I lube oil refinery in Jeddah, and at LUBEREF II in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, and are of strategic importance in order to sustain and improve operational excellence, through the use of process simulation. The new OTS solutions are part of an on-going investment in modernizing the control facilities of these plants, and will be used both for operator training, and for additional purposes, such as control system check out, and ongoing engineering and operations analyses.
These two projects will be delivered using the leading edge DYNSIM™ and SIM4ME™ simulation technologies, to provide a simulated operating environment that also includes Yokogawa CS3000 DCS systems.
