Hyperion Energy deploys Control Seal DBB Valves at VTTV

(Oct 2018) Hyperion Energy successfully commissioned the deployment of 28 Control Seal Double Block & Bleed valves at VTT Vasilikos. VTTV operates since November 2014, and is the first terminal of its kind in the Eastern Mediterranean, connecting Europe and the Black Sea with markets in the Middle East and Asia. The asset currently comprises 28 tanks and capacity of 545,000 m³, and offers access to a deep water marine jetty as well as to road tanker loading facilities.  

Following the mandatory leak test to verify the sealing integrity of the valves and piping gaskets, the installation project at the VTTV Jetty, berth 1-4 was successfully completed after a week on-site.

To ensure the proper execution of the project, Control Seal deployed a senior installation and maintenance engineer in Cyprus to supervise operations.
