Hyperion Power Services is tasked to evaluate the risk of Subsynchronous Resonance (SSR) for a plant in Peru

(Mar 2020) Hyperion Power Services (HPS) were funded by a major OEM to establish the SSR risk of an open cycle plant being converted to combined cycle, and in the future, when the grid will add three more 500kV lines.  The results of the analysis were shared with the Owner and grid operator.
