Hyperion recognised with second Seal of Excellence from the EU Horizon 2020 SME-2 programme for HyPPOS, disruptive solution for polymers production

(Feb 2019) A major challenge in process industries is to maintain a detailed history of product-batch properties and obtain real-time analysis throughout the production process. Generic commercial software can support this to a degree, but at a high cost due to the long and extensive customization needed. In addition, many manufacturing processes require a high degree of specialization. For these cases, generic software platforms do not offer the necessary flexibility, information, or insight needed to obtain the best possible performance management.
HyPPOS (Hyperion Polymer Production Online Software) combines Batch Tracking and On-Line Polymer Analysis (OLPA) technology into a single product, enabling tracking to be performed in real-time and providing the ability to display the location of material with specific OLPA results as it passes through the production process.
Hyperion has participated with a proposal for HyPPOS at the EU Horizon 2020 – Research and Innovation Framework Programme, SME-2 rigorous and extremely competitive funding process receiving two times in 2018 and in the recent 2019 evaluations, the prestigious Seal of Excellence recognition.
