Within the EuroCC project under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, each participating countriy is tasked with establishing a single National Competence Centre (NCC) in high-performance computing (HPC). These NCCs will coordinate activities in all HPC-related fields at the national level and serve as a contact point for customers from industry, science, (future) HPC experts, and the general public alike.
The NCC for Cyprus is The Cyprus Institute, Hyperion's research partner in the EMBED-AI project, which was successully completed in Autumn 2023.
During a SUPERCOMPUTING INFO DAY to be held on 24 January 2024, NCCs from five different countries (NCC Slovenia, NCC Netherlands, NCC Montenegro, NCC Cyprus, NCC Spain) will showcase successful HPC use cases various companies in the different countries.
